6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014 Empty Re: 6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014

Post by Tom Ree Tue Dec 09, 2014 2:47 pm

The camera zooms out on a red curtain so that eventually a white sign saying 'Born in Fire 2014' can be seen. In the background the remnants of 'Successful' is still playing. It remains like this for a few seconds before Tom Ree emerges from the curtain. He is taking long, deep breaths. In one hand he has the contract whilst in the other is his briefcase. He has a little bit of a shake off and has a look around. Tom sees what he wants and heads over to one of the bigger boxes before putting the contract down. He begins to read intently.

"At any time" he mumbles whilst an increasingly large smile spreads across his face. He carefully places his briefcase down on the same box before flipping it open. He carefully moves a few things about including a large paperweight. He then places the contract neatly at the top of the briefcase. He smiles before closing the briefcase down. He chucks it back into his right hand and begins to head down the corridor. As we turn the corner we see a Doctor heading towards him.

"Mr Ree, I have been looking for you. Are you hurt? I need to check you over. That was a battle out there!"

"I'm fine doctor. Nothing too serious, just a few knocks."

Tom allows himself to be checked over by the Doctor. The Doctor looks concerned over a few of the bruises and cuts but finally states "I agree there is nothing serious. A few nasty bruises so try and get some rest. You know the power of rest and recovery."

Tom nods and goes to head off.

"Doctor. I won. Fate."

The Doctor looks slightly taken aback by this statement but Tom is already shuffling off down the corridor. As he continues to walk down he bumps into Kayleigh Reed. Kayleigh strides up to Tom with a smile on her face.

"Mr Ree. You have just won the Freshers Ball, can I get a hot take from you."

Tom groggily turns around and steadies himself.

"I won. I said I was going to win. I won. It was fate. Something inside me dragged me through that. My intelligence! My desire to be a winner! Or maybe it was just I'm that little but better so I have that little bit extra that no one has matched yet."

"Have you got any plans set for when you are going to use the contract?"

Tom laughs

"Of course. I will use this contract at the optimum moment. The time when my success is most likely. It's all probability and I want the odds stacked in my favour. I am not one for chance. Where is the fun in that? A sure fire title sounds a lot more enjoyable to me. So if you or this moronic crowd do not understand my thinking then it is not because I missed my opportunity or made a mistake but because it is not how it was meant to go down. It doesn't fit in my grander vision."

"Any particular title?"

"They are all in my sights! I don't want to give then advanced warning of my intentions. They can all have that little bit of fear inside them, because I will come for them. I will cash in that contract. I will win the title. You will all observe destiny at work. You will all witness the personification of excellence. You will all believe. You will all learn."

"Thank you"

Kayleigh walks off and Tom with a smug smile begins to head off out the arena

6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014 Empty Re: 6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014

(Backstage a limousine pulls up, the camera reveals the driver getting out, he walks to the passenger door at the back and opens it up, the crowd boo as Max Adamson steps out, with the 6WF Undisputed Championship over his shoulder. Adamson smirks as he walks inside the arena while the driver carries his bag. Jack Reynolds is approaching him with a microphone)

JR: Max, can I get your-

Max: Well if it isn't one of my many doubters. I told you, and I told every single one of those snivelling fans, I even forewarned Patricks and Saint. Max Adamson came to Born In Fire to win the 6WF Undisputed Championship, and here I stand, for the second time, King of the Mountain, 6WF World Champion.

JR: What do you make of Saint having an immediate rematch against you tonight?

Max: I'm not surprised Jack. When I lost the title two months ago, The Saint didn't even defend the title once before Born In Fire. He was Champion for two months and he didn't even defend the title he pretty much awarded himself. Lo and behold, as soon as he loses it to Max Adamson, it's time for an instant rematch. Maybe he's still suffering from me dropping him on his head with a Cyclone, but if he thinks he's going to take this baby away from me he's got another thing coming.

JR: What about Chris Patricks?

Max: The guy is a non-entity. He got his revenge by costing me the title. But I won it back, despite him. He can't even stop me being Champion, literally the first opportunity I got I GORED the crap out of The Saint and I GORED the crap out of "Christopher James Patricks", and now I've fulfilled my prophecy twice. Fulfilling the prophecy once is a miracle to most, to do it twice is just showing off...

JR: What do you think will happen tonight?

(Adamson smirks and adjusts the World Title on his shoulder)

Max: Tonight, I'm going to beat up The Saint. I'm going to pin The Saint, and I'm going to retain the 6WF Undisputed Championship of the World against The Saint. He had his fluke over me, it ended when I beat him at Born In Fire. And it felt great beating him, it really did. But I have a wrong to right. I have that defeat to The Saint, even if it was caused by Chris Patricks, I have that defeat still hanging over me. So even though I beat him at Born In Fire, I don't just want to beat The Saint to retain my title. I want to beat The Saint and PROVE, without a doubt, to anybody who thinks The Saint is the man of the hour, the king of 6WF... That they're 100% wrong. I'm the King, I'm the Champ, this is my house and I'm going to prove it...

(Adamson leans in close to Reynolds' face)

Max: ...Tonight.

(Adamson laughs and shoves Reynolds out of the way before heading towards his Locker Room)

6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014 Empty Re: 6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014

Post by Mat Mon Dec 15, 2014 1:55 pm

"The Next Big Thing" blares out through the speakers and the crowd cheer as Mike Hill walks out onto the stage. He walks down the ramp purposefully, without his usual swagger, as he tags a couple of the fans hands. Hill slides in under the bottom rope, he walks to the other side of the ring and leans over the top rope, motioning for a microphone.

RJ: Mike Hill lost his European Title to Cameron Faith at Born In Fire, his second loss in three years to Faith on the biggest PPV of the year.

MW: That was great to watch! Faith is the future RJ, Hill is past it now, he needs to step away while he still has some dignity.

*Hill stands in the middle of the ring, mic in hand. He looks around the arena for a few moments as the crowd chant his name, he smiles and then raises the mic to his mouth.

Mike Hill: There is only one thing Mike Hill can say after what happened at Born In Fire...and that is sorry. Sorry for losing the European Title, sorry for losing to Cameron Faith, sorry for letting you down.

Ahead of Born In Fire, Mike Hill was sure that he would win. It goes without saying that Mike Hill was confident, because Mike Hill is always confident. But this was different. Mike Hill was certain he was going to win. Yes Cameron had the better of Mike Hill in the two previous matches, but Mike Hill thought the tide was turning. Faith was getting complacent, his inexperience was showing, Mike Hill started getting the better of him.

It wasn't just that. Mike Hill had studied the tapes of Faith's previous two victories, Mike Hill trained harder than ever, Mike Hill was in the best shape he's ever been in. Yet Faith got the job done, he beat me. And that's led to a lot of questions from the fans, from the critics and even from some of the guys backstage. But they weren't the people asking the most questions. The person asking the most questions, the hardest questions was myself.

"What do I do next?" "Can I still get the job done?" and most telling of all, "Is Mike Hill still up to standard?" For a week, all of these thoughts have been running through Mike Hill's head. Mike Hill has talked about it with his family, with his friends and even with some of his enemies. This is the first time Mike Hill has ever experienced this kind of self-doubt, the kind of self-doubt that Mike Hill thought was only experienced by losers, by mere mortals...not by the standard-bearer of 6WF.

A decision needed to be made. Mike Hill didn't want to stay in 6WF as some kind of nostalgia-trip, Mike Hill didn't want to become a parody of himself. Mike Hill didn't want to stay in 6WF if he didn't believe he couldn't reach the very top again.

RJ: Is this Hill's retirement speech?

MW: God I hope so. End it all Mike, you aren't good enough anymore!

Mike Hill: It took a lot of time to make a decision about whether I should stay in 6WF, or call it a day. But finally, Mike Hill made up his mind...and Mike Hill is staying here in 6WF, and Mike Hill will prove he is still that GOD DAMN GOOD!

*The crowd cheer and chant Hill's name.

RJ: A popular decision with these fans!

MW: Big mistake Hill, big mistake! You aren't good enough anymore, go out with some grace man!

Mike Hill: Cameron Faith talked a lot about belief in the build-up to Born In Fire...and that is what swayed Mike Hill's mind. Because you know what, despite losing at Born In Fire, Mike Hill still believes he is better than Cameron Faith. Mike Hill believes that he is better than his opponent on Lockdown, Tom Ree. Mike Hill believes he's better than The Saint, and Mike Hill knows he's better than Max Adamson!

Mike Hill still believes he is the best, and on Tuesday night, I intend to start proving that. Tom Ree you are going to learn one tough lesson, and that is never to cross Mike Hill when he's on a revenge mission. Starting Tuesday night, Mike Hill starts to raise the standard once again!

*Hill throws the microphone down to the canvas, "The Next Big Thing" kicks back in as he rolls out of the ring and high fives the fans at ringside.

6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014 Empty Re: 6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014

Post by kentyf1 Mon Dec 15, 2014 9:13 pm

*The show cuts backstage to a largely well-lit corridor deep within the LG Arena, away from the noise and excitement of the 6WF world filling the LG. The camera pans around, scanning the surroundings of the corridor itself. The plain white walls of paint seem to be cracking, age taking it’s toll on the emulsion. There are pictures of various athletes and various events hanging across the walls which have graced the LG arena in the past. The camera also picks up some electrical equipment boxes stored for the crew in the far distance of the corridor. Finally, the camera reveals a large black door with a gold-plate at the top of the door with the name “Nemesis” in red italics inside the plate. The camera then reveals a figure which the audience within the LG immediately start to jeer and boo viciously, a minority cheer proudly. Turning around, a pale and wan looking Kenty faces the camera with a grimace across his face. Kenty is wearing a pair of casual black skinny jeans, an official Kenty shirt in Red with the words “Live Life Loud” proudly emblazoned on the shirt. His hair is jelled in a Clark Kent style also. A slightly dishevelled Kenty, ponders for a moment, clenching his fist ready to knock on the door of Nemesis’s locker room before breathing heavily and releasing his fist. Kenty once again faces the camera, ready to skulk away before the camera picks up on his heavy and weary eyes. The camera reveals an angrier looking sty on his left eye while the right one has receded somewhat. The Left eye seems slightly bloodshot also, suggesting a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders also. Before Kenty can exit the scene, A voice can then be heard.*

?: Kenty? Can I just quickly catch a word? Kenty?

*The camera swings around to reveal a confident and proud looking Jack Reynolds. He is wearing a dark, navy suit with a yellow tie. He is clutching his microphone enthusiastically and his eyes light up at the potential scoop he is about to receive. The enthusiasm from Kenty is the polar opposite. His eyes seem dull and his posture seems tight and protective. A slight smile crosses Kenty’s lips however but he does still seem tense and emotional.*

Mr Kenty: Sure Jack… I'm sure you have plenty to ask. And I'm not going to shy away from any questions you have got to throw at me. So ask away Jack, The people deserve the honest truth as far as I'm concerned…

JR: Kenty… where do I start?  Can I take you back to Born In Fire and your immediate reaction after triumphantly beating Crime Lord in one of the biggest matches of the night?

Mr Kenty: What can I say, Jack? It was perhaps the toughest, hardest and roughest matches that I have ever wrestled on the grandest stage of them all. Crime Lord and I left it all out there that night. We tore the house down, we beat each other to a point where the pair of us could barely stand on our own two feet. That competitive spirit and drive that we both have, comes from a champions spirit. Only the true elite have it… and both Crime Lord and I, we are both elite superstars.

Mr Kenty: Having said that, were there times in the match where I thought this could be it? Was this going to be the night where my career would culminate in the scrapheap? Embarrassed, humiliated and left in a mess? Absolutely. I knew that I must win this match… I had no choice. By any means, I had to win that match at Born In Fire. Because if I hadn't had won that match at Born In Fire against Crime Lord… Crime Lord would have gotten his way in making me embrace the hate. The cold, dark hatred that I'm fighting desperately to avoid.

Mr Kenty: I can’t let that happen and I won’t let that happen. This inner monster doesn't exist… what you see is what you get with me. No hidden agenda, no hidden motives and no sly moves. I'm not that guy. I'm not this leech that many view me as. I'm not this hidden creep, sucking the life out of this company slowly and surely with my words and actions. In a nutshell, the monster that Crime Lord believes that I have bubbling away inside my soul, he doesn't exist. It’s a figment of his imagination and also the figment of the imagination of those who criticise and hate against Mr Kenty.

Mr Kenty: Which brings me on nicely to what else happened at Born In Fire… you know, it’s pretty tough to take. In a place where I consider home or close as it’s going to get, the vast majority of fans wanted my head on a pike. They wanted me to be carried out on a stretcher never to be seen again, and that hurts you know? I'm an athlete… I train as hard as anyone and my goals never change. I just cannot put my finger on it, can you? When I pinned Crime Lord, for a second I thought I had their respect… but it turns out, it was far from it. Still, I get taunted and abused.

Mr Kenty: Many fans however and 6WF officials have never seen anything like this… never have they seen a guy like me suffer the treatment I have received in the past four to five months. Many ask me why you don’t just pack it in. why don’t you just try something else. That would be too easy… I never back down from a challenge and I never quit.  If I did quit… what would that say? It would speak volumes about my lack of character and gumption… that will never happen.

Mr Kenty: If it means the haters getting more ammunition and the critics fuelling their venomous aggression towards me staying here… so be it. I'm not moving. I'm here for the long haul… I'm here to turn my career around and transform myself to become the best superstar that 6WF has ever seen and that is not going to change just because of hate and jealously. I would be as weak minded as they are…

*Kenty seems irked and tetchy as he speaks his words as Reynolds looks on, a little nervously. Reynolds raises the microphone to his lips to ask another question*

JR: You must be pleased with the application and desire you showed however at Born In Fire?

Mr Kenty: Oh for sure, I'm pleased with the desire and passion I showed at Wembley. It’s been awhile since I Felt as strong and confident I did that night and I hope I can replicate a similar performance tonight against Udo Berg and… well I don’t know who the big guy is bringing to the dance but I know one thing for sure, and that it’s going to be hell of a fight on Lockdown this week! As you can see, I was going to see if Nemesis was in the building… but I have a feeling he isn't in his locker room.

JR: if it’s any consolation Kenty, I haven’t seen Nemesis tonight. As a matter of fact, I don’t think anyone has seen him since Born In Fire and his war with Cassius…

Mr Kenty: It was a battle and a war… if I was involved in a match like that, especially against someone as evil and tenacious as Cassius I too would be recovering in peace. I witnessed the match and I must say it was an excellent match between two old foxes who really have a desire to be at the top of their games again. For a match like to happen was something special and unique… still, I expect the pro that Nemesis is to have the same level of commitment as he showed at Born In Fire tonight in the match.

Mr Kenty: In many ways, I could of asked for a better tag partner tonight… both of us have plenty to prove and plenty to show to all sixteen thousand fans that have filled the LG tonight. Both of us our coming off a strong performance and win at the biggest show of the year, we need to keep the momentum on our side. Plus, the fact that two champions teaming up… it’s something for the fans to marvel at and enjoy. This is for them tonight.

Mr Kenty: On the other hand, I know how much of a challenge tonight will be… Udo Berg is a giant. Perhaps a giant that has a serious point to prove tonight, he came so close to winning the Fresher’s Ball match and if anything, this will give him the extra motivation punish and fight tonight. An angry giant is something none of us want… however, this has fallen on the shoulders of Nemesis and myself tonight and we must embrace the challenge and the mystery he is bringing, the unknown quantity if you will tonight…

Mr Kenty: But, I have learnt in my time in 6WF… the unknown, it’s nothing to be scared off. Nothing to be intimidated by, no… by far the total opposite. The unknown is good, it keeps us all on our toes and keeps us all mentally and physically prepared. Many buy into the false ideas that the unknown is scary… the unknown is something we should all fear and be incredibly wary of. That is totally wrong and false.

Mr Kenty: The unknown should be embraced… not feared. It should be seen as a new challenge and a new adventure… and for sure, whoever Berg’s partner will be tonight. He is going to be tough, mean and ruthless… but I cannot wait. I cannot wait to do what I do best and go to that ring and show these fans that I have still got it and that I still can go toe to toe with the best 6WF has to offer.  I'm not going to let anyone down anymore… I'm not going to be that guy who is seen as a weak and is seen as a leech. This isn't me and I'm not going to lie down and take this theory about myself from the haters and critics…

*Sheepishly, Reynolds looks at Kenty who continues to look on edge and tense and begins to speak cautiously once more.*

JR: May I ask you something personal, Kenty…

Mr Kenty: by all means…

JR: It’s just… we are all concerned about you. That includes me and management… you seem distance and tense. You are not the same man you were say a few months ago… are you sure you are okay?

Mr Kenty: I'm fine… honestly, Jack. Thank you for your concern but, I'm old enough and wise enough to know how to deal with the situation I am in and I know how to rectify the situation. If I ever need a chat I know where to come… but for now, I need to focus and I need to win. That is all I care about tonight… winning. I need my fix and I need it now.

JR: Well, Okay… Edd. Thanks for your time.

*Reynolds outstretches his hand, Kenty looks at it with his dull and stressed demeanour and replies with a acknowledging nod of the head before turning away. Reynolds leaves the shot quickly, as the camera pans in on a weary looking Kenty. He sighs deeply, his left eye looking swollen and bloodshot as the camera fully closes up on the former champion. Kenty slowly looks to the wall, where a picture is hanging on a proud gold frame. It’s a picture of Kenty holding the 6WF championship for the first time in the LG with confetti all around and a smile across his face. Kenty stretches out his hand and touches the picture. A few seconds pass before Kenty drops his arm and looks at the ground, He then looks up with a weak smile and mutters to himself…

Mr Kenty: Remember why you started… Keep living the dream. Keep being a dreamer.

*With that Kenty trudges beleaguered into the distance, the camera following as he exits the scene. The scene slowly returns to the LG and the action where the fans continue their largely venomous and abusive taunts towards the fallen hero while a small minority continue to cheer Kenty’s name.*

6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014 Empty Re: 6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014

Post by Nay Tue Dec 16, 2014 12:12 pm

*”I Fought the Law’ blasts out and the crowd quickly become hostile as Cameron Faith storms out onto the stage, he looks out around the crowd ignoring the abuse, stops at the top of the ramp and raises both the Freeweight and European titles above his head as pyros go off around him. Cameron marches down the ramp, a title belt over each shoulder. Faith climbs up the steps and walks into the ring, he pulls a microphone out his knee pad and stands waiting for the crowd to quieten but the hatred only increases.

CF: SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!

Every week i have to come out here and listen to this shit, it’s nothing but jealousy. Jealousy because while you all struggle to hold down a single job for minimum wage, I successfully hold not one but two of the most prestigious titles in the whole of wrestling.

Crowd: FAITH SUCKS

CF: I promised that I would hold the Freeweight Championship for an entire year, and I did. I guaranteed that I would defeat Mike Hill at Born in Fire and unify the European and Freeweight Championships, and I did.

I proved to the world once and for all the Cameron Faith is just plain better than Mike Hill, I beat him for the second time in 3 years on the biggest stage of them all.

Every single one of you should get down on your knees and bow the moment my music hits. You are lucky enough to be watching a wrestling god in action and that’s how I deserve to be treated.

CROWD: F*** you Faith

CF: Just like I deserve a rematch for the Fight for the Right Tournament. The ONLY reason Logan walked away with that contract is because I was cheated by shocking refereeing and inadequate medical staff.

There was no way that match should have been stopped, I was fine, I had Logan beat and victory was snatched from me.

*Cameron walks towards the Camera and holds his two titles for everyone to see*

Look at these, Look at me, do I look like a quitter, I may be a lot of things but I have never ever quit anything. No one pinned me, no one made me submit, I didn’t say the words I quit.

I WAS NOT BEATEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Cameron stands staring angrily at the camera before regaining his composure*

RJ: He was unconscious for gods sake, if by some miracle he could continue after that, given Cameron’s history of concussions there is no doubting the right call was made.

MW: Cameron doesn’t see it that way though, he wasn’t pinned, he didn’t submit, I can see his point.

RJ: Logan is one of the most dangerous indivuals in wrestling, the damage he could do to unconscious opponent doesn’t bear thinking about it.

MW: I agree RJ, the state he was in, he’s lucky Tom Ree didn’t use the opportunity to cash in his contract.

*Cameron steps back from the cameras placing the belts over his shoulder*

CF: Logan you won by default, you stole what belongs to me, so here’s me promise to you. Until I get the rematch I deserve, I am gonna make sure you never cash that contract in. Every time you run down to the ring contract in hand I am gonna be there Logan, and if by some miracle you do manage to cash in, I will be the one standing first in line to take that title from you.

Trust me when I say one way or the other I will be World Champion by Born in Fire.

*Cameron pats the belts on his shoulders*

CF: I have already proven that I’m a man of my word.

Its time you all started to believe it. Believing in Cameron Faith.

*The Show cuts to commercial as Cameron makes his way out the ring*

6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014 Empty Re: 6WF Lockdown - THE SHOW AFTER BORN IN FIRE! - 16th December 2014

Post by Saint Tue Dec 16, 2014 6:26 pm

We see The Saint sat in his office. There is a pile of paperwork sat next to his laptop, he looks unkempt, an obvious stubble present on his face, his eyes baggy. He drinks from the mug of coffee and continues to pour over what is on his laptop.

His phone rings. The Saint looks at it and lolls his head back in exasperation.

Saint: Just fuck off...

He eventually answers it, trying to sound falsely accommodating.

Saint: Evening Duncan, how are you? Looking forward to Christmas? The wife well?...... What do you mean I'm taking the piss?! I'm trying to make small talk you philistine!! You're a bit precious!

The Saint leans back in his chair, taking in the obvious dressing down.

The Saint: Look, Duncan, the budgets will get done. If you didn't notice I've had my hands full the last couple of weeks? We're going round in circles aren't we?! You asked me to get back in the ring, you begged me to wrestle again. You knew that things might get missed, that deadlines wouldn't be met if I was pulling double duty! So don't lecture me like I'm some sort of fucking simpleton! Like it or not, I'm keeping this ship afloat whilst you bang those two bit prostitutes on your 'gentlemen's weekends'. Oh, you think I didn't know about that?! You forget I have to cross reference the board's expenditure!

It's fine though, I've seen Jeanette out and about, Dunc, rest assured if you do play away, she'd be having herself a Saintly Christmas!

The Saint smirks as he knows he's pushed a few buttons.

The Saint: Now come on Duncan, that's just rude! It's almost like you rubber stamped this rematch with Adamson so you could see me get my ass kicked again! It's like you love seeing me fail!

Well, mark my words and tell whoever else wants to know, I'm not lying down for anyone, that match isn't going to be the formality everyone expects it to be!

I might not be the man I used to be, the dominant force that made everyone sit up and take notice but I'm still infinitely better than half of this roster! Maybe it's time to show the world that The Saint isn't done.

The Saint hangs up the phone and throws it away, beating his desk, before carrying on at his computer.
