I think there might be some truth in him wanting to leave, but that it's all being exaggerated by the press. He hasn't travelled with the rest of the squad to Portugal, but that could be that the new medical guy has told AP that Cisse is better off training alone whilst observing Ramadan. Same as Haidara.

I'd rather the club or Cisse come out and say something to the press to put it all to bed, but I expect it to carry on all summer. I'm still hopeful we'll bring in at least one striker before the window closes; worried that a few more players could leave the club. We still have a strong enough side not to struggle against relegation this season though.

Yeah i agree. It's annoying how it's all hearsay at the moment.

I'm glad the Darren Bent rumours are starting to go away, i really couldn't stomach that prick at our club.

Yeah but if the Aussies suddenly remembered how to bat again (unlikely but possible), we could be staring at maybe 100-150 run target on a pitch that will deteriorate. I would still back us to get the runs, but it saves any last minute jitters.

Post 500 target. Then bowl them out in 2 days.
