haha Rich, no im not on paternity leave, i got a German relative coming over so i will only be able to come on certain days when he is at language school.

That begs the question though Marky what makes you British,english etc Is it by birth, heritage?

Nationality wise, so to have a right to a British passport, birth in Britain is not enough. There is complex nationality law that dictates entitlement. Is that what makes you british?

I consider myself neither, for the sole reason that when you go to do one of the nationality things the options are ...

1)White
2) British
3) White British

Why aren't we all just British regardless of colour?

In response to the undertone of Marky's question, whilst it's nice that the country is celebrating the birth of a new 'King' i don't see the need for all the pomp and circumstance, when his birth is just an excuse to piss more money that the country doesn't have on celebrations.

My issue isn't with people not caring about the birth, that's up to them. But (with regards my Facebook) I have an issue with people, who are "Proud to be British" when someone wins the Tennis, and "Proud to be British" when a soldier is murdered, bearing in mind one of the most notable things about being British is having the Royal Family and not caring about them one jot.

At least they also bring in a lot of revenue from their existence. I'd argue they would comfortably break even if you calculated their revenue created against taxpayers money spent.

Also would argue the banks/bankers are the biggest waste of taxpayers money.
