I think character based Cassius Zhi is probably 6WF's most interesting character overall, he's certainly been one of the most three dimensional and shows the merits of restarting with a new character because that awkward phase at the beginning for the character is removed. 

Currently I think either Logan Kincade or Blue Dragon because of their history and I think both have the possibility of being face or heel depending on circumstances. 

No idea why it's been quiet, people making the most of the nice weather and the World Cup is on?

I'll try and promo in the next few days...got an anniversary to plan at the moment though so that's my priority at the moment...that and supporting Chile in the world cup!

First question......because only a very few are trying to gee up any interest show based and when they do, someone always makes the convo go dead with a wise crack.

Second question.....anyone that actually promos Seriously I would go for Cassius Zhi without a doubt.

Couldn't agree more Crimey. Zhi has always had an edge to him. If 6WF was televised I'd imagine him to be the main one used as an example from people outside of wrestling. Like how everyone knows the undertaker if if they don't know wrestling.

Sorry I haven't been around. Someone keeps taking big shits on my family from a great height. 

My favourite character in 6WF is Lex Hart. I think he had so many facets to his character, and I reckon he's got a load more in the locker to unleash. He is a complex, conflicted individual, has had some of the most memorable character exploring feuds and storylines, and through that has managed to shed the shackles of being related to a WWE character. You don't even think of that anymore. I think he's a bit of a genius is Paul.

Great promo Marky, actually agree with what Max said about Oko. I think this Hard Done by gimmick of your character is working......Saint does look incompetent, what with the Hoods, his reaction to your legitimate claim of facing Kenty, the Logan segment last week and getting The Consultant to do much of the leg work.

Glad you approve, didn't want you annoyed at me running down Oko!

To be fair, Oko is the absolute underdog in the match and can fill the void as the guy who has no chance on paper but gets a pinfall with just a few minutes left to tease the shock.

Could well be, but I think he is there to make a vortex feud possible. Oko certainly doesn't deserve to be there more than Max. Think it will be Crime Lord v Kenty v Adamson as a title feud.

Vortex could go hardcore route after BD and Austin have finished. Possibly even Oko but they haven't been built as true contenders, more under dogs as you say. Would be nice to score a decisive pin fall victory over the top 3 - no run ins, no interference. Just so they have it on their CVs.

Morning Lads & Ladies,

Apologies for my lack of activity over the last few weeks. I’ve been working every hour god sends to pay for a new car and clear some debt, so it’s taken up the bulk of my time. Hopefully after this week I’ll be back on a more regular basis.

While I’ve been away I’ve been contemplating this place; it’s future and where we go next, and after some long deliberation I’ve decided that it’s time to start planning my retirement. Now; I know what you’re all thinking.....’Please don’t go, Rich? We love Clarke James’, but let me reassure you, I’m not leaving forever.

I’ve been Head of Creative for over 3 years, and come Born In Fire it won’t be far off 4 years, which is nearly 4 years longer than I thought I would last. Working alongside Mat I’ve gone through the best era of 6WF in its history. Written and planned two of the best Born In Fire’s we’ve seen and had some amazing storylines to work on. I’ve also been lucky enough to work with some of the most talented people I’ve ever met. Granted, along the way I’ve had to deal with a few arseholes, but for the most part it’s been an incredible journey; but sadly, one that comes to an end.

I’ve decided that this year’s Born In Fire will be my last as Head of Creative.

I’m announcing it now to avoid a clichéd ‘here’s Born In Fire, I’m off’ scenario, but also so I can enjoy the last 5 months as HOC and go out with one almighty bang. I’m going out on my terms, my way and on the back of our biggest show, and that’s probably a perfect way to end it.

I want to thank each and every single person who has worked with me over my time being in charge, you’re the reason this place has been so successful. Thanks to everyone who helped with shows, segments, and tried their hand at being part of creative. Most importantly, I want to thank Mat. One thing you learn about this job; and that’s kind of what it is, is that it’s very thankless, but extremely rewarding at the same time. Mat’s stuck by me through all my ‘beeriods’, he’s never questioned my decisions, and we’ve never argued in that time. He’s easily, head and shoulders above any GM I’ve ever come across, regardless of anyone else’s’ proclamations. He’s never screwed anyone over, he’s never gone behind anyone’s back, and for more than 6 years he’s consistently delivered quality show after quality show. He really is a Leader of Men, and it’s been my pleasure!

Here’s to one more Born In Fire!

Rich you and Mat have both created the greatest of storylines and I for one have really enjoyed them. Its going to be sad to see you go but hopefully you will be able to return dude!!! Once more thank you for creating some of the greatest moments in the fed's history!!! I wish you the best in life dude =) and like I said hope to see you back here again soon after you leave!!! 

I'm also sure the last 5 months are going to be a mega blast for the fed!!! Bring on BIF!  

Sorry to hear that Rich, you and Mat have made a really good team and come up with some killer storylines. Hopefully the next 5 months will give you the proper send off you deserve. Thanks for all you have done and giving 6WF a proper home.

Rich I'll allow you to step down in 5months but I won't let you call time on Clark James, it'll be good to finally see what you can do with him when your not writing for everyone else lol

I honestly don't have a clue how to promo for Vortex and Oko this week. Fanatic had a good win last show and it will be two very strong guys going at it as well. I could say that the Parasite Killers are a poor version of The Consultancy but that doesn't really fit with current storylines.

Oko and Faith, not sure either. Faiths a title holder so may be good for Oko to talk about that. But as Oko is being portrayed as a face, does that mean he has to be respectful and not call Faith a "gaijin"

Time attack is a big announcement for both so that has to figure as well.

Any ideas? I'm edging towards just starting something for both separately backstage/in ring and feeding off what Nay and Amy promo.

Perhaps just work on one at a time twist. Save you still seeing them as one entity.

I know when I promo for Visage I literally concentrate on him and don't even think about my BD promo. And then the same the other way. Hope that helps, it's tough to have two characters in the same fed, in the sane match is damn near impossible to promo for, that's the difference between a good Promoer and a great one.

No serious mate - You have carried this place with Mat through some serious highs so if anyone deserves to go out on the biggest night of the year it's you. Others would have given up over the last few months so the fact 6WF is still going strong is testament to your hard work and bloody mindedness

Just reading through what I missed whilst away on holiday and stumbled upon this and thought I'd throw in my two penneth.

Having zero input into how he is written, apart from the odd segment when asked, my take is that The Saint isn't one to be the corporate figure, he's probably got the biggest ego in the whole of the 6WF and is using the GM gig to indulge that. He's happy to tear into those who moan, like he did with Max, but is happy to use The Consultant to do the leg work because he knows that Charlie is paid to do it. 

Very much an actions speak louder than words GM.

Gutted to hear about your news, Rich. You and Mat along with recently BD and Ceej have done a terrific job running things around here with some incredible story-lines. I'm really pleased your going to stay as a promoer but the creative team I bet is going to miss your great input. I really hope these next 5 months and Born In Fire are going to be the best in 6WF history, testament to your commitment and constant hard work. Keep on bossing it Rich!
